Hi, my name is Shelley and I’m a travel addict!

Mystery Island (South Pacific), 2015

I love flying, cruising, driving, cycling, walking and catching trains around the world. I thrive on researching new destinations, hunting down amazing deals, finding hidden hotel gems and ‘secret’ cabins on cruise ships, the best seats on planes, informative and fun tours, the most picturesque beaches in the world, and the tastiest restaurants.

A chilly morning on the Seine, 2016

After travelling all over the world, I decided to formalise my industry knowledge with an NZQA qualification in travel before setting off on my next great adventure – helping others have similar unique and fantastic travel experiences.

From experience, I know that the ‘little things’ can make or break a holiday, so I take great care to ensure that everything is taken care of, so all you need to worry about is what to pack.

Rockefeller Center, NYC December 2016

I operate from my home office on a farm in rural Clevedon, New Zealand. This way I keep my overheads low and can pass the cost savings onto you. I’m happy to meet you wherever and whenever is convenient for you, and have all the brochures and sales material that a ‘bricks and mortar’ store has to hand.

I work with Global Travel Network, a NZ company that has agents nationwide, is TAANZ and IATA bonded, and is able to negotiate very good rates with suppliers. I have access to the same systems that ‘bricks & mortar’ travel agencies have, and I can honestly say I have a world of amazing deals at my fingertips.

Making friends in Samoa, 2017

I especially enjoy arranging ‘bespoke’ travel – this is one-off, completely customised itineraries based completely on your interests. So whether you’re interested in Christmas in New York, cherry blossom season in Japan, Fasnacht Festival in Europe, cruising to exotic locations, Carnival in Venice, walking the Camino de Santiago trail in Spain, getting to experience a Formula One race or cycling through Southern France, I’d love to put together some itinerary ideas for you to consider.
